Room6 has closed the doors on Alexandra Palace for this year, our exhibition ‘Missing Elements’ was well received …. hope you got to see it , but , if not, then it will be shown at at least two more venues.. 8-11 November sees us at the knit and stitch show in Dublin, and then in Harrogate Knit and Stitch 22-26 November.

Here we are again, a whole year has flown past and Room6 are opening the Granary Studio for the 2018 Hampshire Open Studios. We will be exhibiting with our new exhibition ‘Missing Elements’ at the Knit and Stitch shows this Autumn. There is a taster wall at the open studios, where each of us has put one piece of work from that exhibition, so you can see the way we are thinking.
In the book we are on the last page of the Winchester studios, no. 118. Do please pop in and see us, we are open from 10-5 on Sat/Sun/Mon 8/19/20 August , and then again Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun 23-27 August, closing on Bank Holiday Monday at 5pm
There is plenty of tea, coffee, and cake and a friendly table to sit round, and of course lots of lovely things to buy! Different members of the group will be there to chat to, and I, Susan, will be there all the time

Room6 have two venues already in 2018 for their work to be seen …
Seven Deadly Sins and More… will be shown throughout April at the Ashcroft Arts Centre in Fareham… this is work that has been developed from the Seven deadly Sins that we showed at the Hampshire Open studios in August .
Room6 will again be at the Granary in Owslebury for the Hampshire Open Studios during the last two weeks of August
The group is currently working on a new exhibition called ‘Missing Elements’ which we hope to launch this year, we are currently negotiating our venues, so we will announce the tour for this exhibition shortly… watch this space!

Jul 2, 3 4 2015 Room 6 along with other graduates of Eastleigh College Foundation Degree Stitched Textiles will be showing their new work at the Desborough Road campus of Eastleigh College in the school of Visual Arts along with the end of year show for all the adult part time creative courses.
October 2015 Room 6 along with other graduates of Eastleigh College Foundation Degree Stitched Textiles will be showing a body of work to fill Romsey Abbey in celebration of St Ethelfleeda’s Festival for the whole month of October. She is the Patron Saint of women in the arts.
The group is now researching possible exhibition venues to create a new body of work that will travel to several different galleries, exciting times
